40 years Ampack – Bosch subsidiary is celebrating a jubilee


Everything started more than 40 years ago with an engineering office which was established by Siegfried Ammann in Augsburg, Germany. Two years later the family company  Ampack Ammann was founded in Königsbrunn, which is situated near Augsburg, where the first fully automatic cup filling and sealing machine was manufactured. Since then Ampack has grown continuously and employs meanwhile more than 320 associates. In total, more than 1500 machines have been delivered to the customers of Ampack successfully. Entry into PET blow-molding technology with acquisition of Tecsor


Bosch Packaging Technology, a leading supplier of process and packaging technology, finalized acquisition of the assets of Tecsor Machines et Systèmes S.A.S., based in Meyreuil near Marseille, France. The antitrust authorities have approved the appropriate documents. Agreements to this effect have already been signed in June this year. Tecsor develops and sells machinery for making and filling PET containers for liquid and paste-like foodstuffs, which are used in the food and beverage industry – as milk bottles or yogurt cups, for example. Set up in 2005, the company generated sales of roughly two million euros in 2012. Tecsor employs 14 associates. It has been agreed that the purchase price will not be disclosed. …more

Containment solution for veterinary medicine at Vétoquinol


During the expansion of its production plant in Lure, France, the French producer of veterinary medicines Vétoquinol decided to modernize its production equipment. The company needed an all-in-one solution for granulating and drying powder under highest containment requirements.
