Just over a year ago, Osgood Industries Inc. became part of Bosch Packaging Technology. Since then, the location in Oldsmar, Florida, has expanded the Liquid Food business unit.

From the company’s beginnings in 1978, this location continues to develop and manufacture rotary and inline machines for denesting, filling, sealing and capping of premade plastic and paper containers for dairy, and food products.

Applications include yogurt, sour cream, cheese, ice cream, pumpable salads, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, hummus and dips, pet food and a broad spectrum of products.

About 150 motivated associates work there, including manufacturing, engineering, management, sales and marketing, administration and service. The sales and engineering teams have been collaborating with other Bosch locations to optimize and integrate their technologies to achieve complete line solutions. These projects are anticipated to be realized in late 2016.

In the below video, Executive Vice President Rich Mueller takes a look back at the company’s beginnings and introduces the location, the machines it produces, and their areas of application.
